How Often Should I Get a Massage?

Trust me, we all wish the answer was everyday...

 

Once we discover the joy and incredible benefits of massage, we begin to value the alleviation and the idea of "indulgence" becomes an investment.

 

"How often should I schedule my massage sessions?"~ Of course, there is no set answer, but studies indicate that massage at regular intervals is most beneficial to your overall health.

 

Remember, your body strives to maintain optimum health by keeping all of it's systems in balance. Along with nutrition, proper nerve function, exersize, and rest, massage relaxes tension in the muscles and the mind, and stimulates the body's communication lines to help it do it's job-- and to keep you feeling your best! 

So, the best thing to do is ask your massage therapist (normally after a massage session) to figure out where you are in your journey of wellness, and how often a massage could bring you to your best you and MAINTAIN it!

I put a lot of emphasis on maintenance because often people get a massage, feel amazing, then wait a few months until they are in pain again and need relief. 

 

To achieve the outcome you are looking for it is best to stay on a steady routine of regular massage for the best life possible!
